Holodont,
since a whole person is attached to each tooth
Holodont - Teeth in Context
A Piece of Art Made by Nature
Every tooth is unique in its shape and perfectly designed by nature for its specific function in the respective organism. If you have ever been plagued by severe pain, there is only one thing you want right now, and that is for the pain to finally subside. That is what we are here for. However, we wish that it didn't have to come to that. However, we would like to clarify on this page that tooth decay is not always solely to blame. Stay tuned
The occlusal Surface of a Tooth and the inner Surfaces of the front and canine Teeth
Many people will have wondered why teeth are not simply smooth on the surface. Perhaps a particularly artistic whim of nature? Not at all. This relief is comparable to a mountain range and continues the basic shape of a tooth right up to the occlusal surface. This mountain and valley design is important for the stability of each tooth itself and thus in the row of teeth to be able to dissipate chewing and shearing forces well without being damaged in the process. These forces are transferred to the surrounding bone, both through the structure of the tooth and through the fibers that form the connection between the bony tooth socket and the periosteum. The dental pulp with the blood vessels and the nerve initially remains unaffected by these forces. The bone surface of the tooth socket is also covered with a very fine layer of fine skin, the so-called periosteum. This can be very painful if the tooth socket is affected and is often misinterpreted as pain coming from the dental nerve. But more on this later. It can be said that the tooth along the "mountain ranges", the so-called cusps and ridges, has the thickest enamel and the greatest load-bearing capacity in the valleys, the fissures, correspondingly less. This is also where the so-called initial caries occur, which is often equated with discolored fissures. A mistake that can end painfully.
Occlusion
The perfect and four-dimensional match of teeth within the space of the oral cavity determines the health of the musculoskeletal system. The masticatory organ and the cranio-mandibular system are undoubtfedly closely connected to the musculoskeletal system if not at all controlling it.
Teeth need and seek contact
Contact with the neighbor
The contact to the neighboring tooth should be punctiform, period! Because this is important for the natural self-cleaning power in the oral cavity. Unfortunately, this (contact) point is criminally neglected in the entire spectrum of dentistry and dental technology and is often even artificially removed and turned into a flat surface. This is the case when placing fillings of all kinds, when replacing them with crowns, and in orthodontics through so-called slicing, to name the most common sources of error.
Contact with the Opposite
The feeling when closing your bite should be "to the spot". No slipping into the bite, so-called "sliding". Ideally, dots should be visible when using a colored occlusion foil. If streaks or even areas appear, the relief of the corresponding occlusal surface is not correct. All movements should not have any interference. This is the ideal occlusion in balance. If this balance is lost due to malocclusion, tooth loss, and/or dental interventions, the finely tuned neuromuscular system becomes misaligned, sometimes with serious consequences for the patient. The path of suffering often begins when this cause remains unrecognized and is treated poorly and only symptomatically.
The most important contact is the right contact
Teeth from an energetic point of view
Teeth as Acupuncture Points
Many body parts, including the oral cavity, are energetically sensitive or even contain so-called acupuncture points, also referred to as energy points. Dr. med Jochen Gleditsch very impressively devoted himself to this topic and successfully applies this acupuncture method. The reactivity of the individual points is tested and, if necessary, small amounts of a local anesthetic are applied. However, substances from homeopathy and naturopathy are also very suitable for this method, especially if the tooth proves to be a blockage in the energy field. Conversely, teeth have the potential to cause harm to their energetic counterpart.
Teeth in the Context of the Energy Field
Teeth as an (energetic) focus. Teeth are usually the focus of causing pain or are suspect of being the focus of chronic pain or inflammation of other organs, skin, or joints. Different diagnostic means will then be performed to secure or dismiss the suspicion. However, misaligned teeth, material intolerance, or, as described above, malocclusion can also lead to irritations of the corresponding energetic path. Bruxism and clenching are most likely to cause similar effects. Find more information by clicking CMDsmart*

The question of the apropriate material
Why put something into the body that we then eliminate again?!
A historical review
Independent "dentistry" existed until around 5500 BC and again in the late 19th century AD. One historical milestone was undoubtedly the use of general anesthesia, and with the invention of novocaine, local anesthesia made the often harrowing treatments possible in the first place. Even well into the 20th century, dentistry and dental medicine were frequently intertwined. Not much thought was given to the question of materials either. Although there were always very pioneering developments, especially in functional dentistry, they failed due to so-called mass suitability. With increasing digitalization, dentistry has experienced a real leap forward in its development. Yet, one often feels that the patient as a whole is rarely included in the planning process. This applies in particular to the choice of suitable treatment and material.
A real patient-freindly selection
The demands placed on dental materials are high. We are no longer sufficiently aware of this in today's diversity. Until well into the 20th century, the choice was predetermined: mainly amalgam and non-precious metal alloys were used, and those who could afford it could fall back on gold as a material. Introducing "composites" and their adhesive bonding, which are based on plastics, revolutionized the possibilities in restoration enormously. Adhesive bonding has also dramatically expanded the range of applications for ceramics.
Nevertheless, not every material is equally suitable for every patient. The choice of the individually suitable material depends heavily on the appropriate treatment options, which should be made in the context of the individual medical history, diagnostics, treatment plan, and, last but not least, the individual tolerance. The planned material and alternatives should be tested for their compatibility with the overall organism and the intended restoration.
Looking for Alternatives
Many materials and active ingredients used in dentistry still come from the class of dangerous goods........
It is also worth looking for alternatives......
What's good in alternative medicine often also works in dentistry
What fits how and, above all, for whom?
The question of suitable therapy
Many roads lead to Rome
And one of them could be yours, as the old saying goes. At the beginning of each therapy, there is always the "why" and next, the patient's wish. Yet, not all wishes can always be fulfilled in full; we try to fulfill the requests as far as it is compatible with our knowledge and conscience. Often, they become border-crossers. However, we do not fulfill any wishes that are not beneficial to you in our holistic view. From a dental point of view, we offer all services but only use bio-inert materials. Our repertoire ranges from tooth preservation to fixed prosthetics, implant prosthetics, oral surgery and periodontology, prophylaxis, orthodontics, and CMD treatment. We work with specialists in other fields related to dentistry and the medical field. After analyzing all the details, you will be involved in developing the appropriate treatment methods. We don't have a standardized plan, nor do we have treatments that cannot be implemented satisfactorily or would even cause long-term damage. Our philosophy is to customize the therapy individually according to your needs.
Drainage and removal of toxic materials
We offer this treatment only and exclusively with appropriate laboratory diagnostics and in combination with functional medicine. This often involves long-term temporaries to help the body regenerate. We will be happy to advise you!
Our therapeutic spectrum resembles a pharmacist's cabinet, from which we choose your ideal therapy
